FLOW-YO™: The Core Workout

Fitness from the inside out to strengthen your core, stretch and balance your body, and enhance everything else that you do with your body.

This is a dynamic class where you’ll perform a variety of moves, both upright and on the mat, drawing from yoga, Pilates and body-weight training disciplines.

You’ll move your body every-which-way, holding briefly in key poses to the backdrop of motivating upbeat music. You’ll strengthen and lengthen muscles, balance the body’s connective tissue, challenge your core muscles, and ultimately unwind the tension in your body, preparing the way for building and repair. This class is taught with options that can challenge all levels of ability, from beginner to even the strongest athlete.

Flow-Yo™ is based on new research that…

  • demonstrates that fascia in the body is one of the primary reasons for pain in the body
  • shows why the fascia needs to be balanced and worked
  • indicates why poor movement patterns lead to arthritis and joint degradation
  • ties sleep patterns to movement
  • connects the nervous system to it all…
  • And the list goes on…

If you train hard, run, bike, “cross-fit” or do high intensity exercise… then you need this workout.
If you sit (at a desk, in the car, etc.) for much of your day… then you need this workout.
If you have trouble sleeping… then you’ll benefit from this workout.
If you want to live pain-free throughout your later years… start now with this workout.
If you want to better your performance in any athletic endeavor… then this is your secret weapon.

This workout is designed to:

  • Increase strength throughout the body
  • Focus on and strengthen the muscles of the core
  • Increase Flexibility and Range of Motion (ROM)
  • Stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress effects
  • Balance fascia (the connective tissue throughout the body that is now being understood to be a major contributor to pain in the body)
  • Hydrate the fascia of the body, supplying a critical component required for pain reduction.
  • Enhance recovery from workouts
